Pros-
1. Giant 6.4 screen, 3gb ram, 1080p resolution, hexacore graphic card-Best gaming experience (mortal combat, gods of Rome, asphalt 8 etc games running smoothly without lag or graphics disturbance)
Doesn't heat up even during heavy media consumption.
2. 4850mah battery-
28-30hrs stand by time, 6-7hrs during heavy media consumption.
3. Gorilla glass, metal body-
Can be used as a assault weapon :D :D
4. Quick charging-
Full charge from 2% to 100% in 30mins ( if used with a 10v+ charger and not the crappy 5v charger that came with the device)
5. Finger print scanner-
Just one word 'AWESOME',
Dinn miss even once, even when scanning upside down, diagonally, skewed, askwed, left, right, center or any other way you can think of....
6. Speakers sound optimum-
Best quality, what you expect from a handset (if you want more sound then get a home theater set :P :D)
7. Touch screen above average-
Quite responsive, capacitive, no lag issue, multi touch options also working fine, all special gestures working fine,
but touch vibrate automatically enables sometimes even when disabled, god knows why...
Maybe future updates will remove this bug.
8. Slim sleek design-
Even though heavily criticized for being too big and dual handed use, its comfortable as a single handed use device once you get acquainted with the beast.
Hell, worse comes to worst, there is a single handed mode available for you people with freakishly small hands :D:D
And yes it does fit in ur jeans pocket comfortably....
9.MIUI 8 update-
Received automatically within 1 month (with cyanogen update renamed as second space)
Cons-
1. Camera quality below average-For 16MP rear camera, pics quality is s***,
Rear Flash even though dual tone, over exposes nearly every time,
Pics get blurred even with slight shake (so PDAF advertised is bulls***),
But selfies cam has been good, good quality pics with auto beautify options (even during video calls of 30mins duration, didn't face any focusing or pixelation issues)
2. Flash sale option-
Is a bitch, literally.... missed it two times and got lucky the third time,
but situation will be reversed once enough handsets will be produced on a regular basis.
3. Crappy charger-
As mentioned above, quick charge 4850mah battery provided with a 5v crappy charger with handset,
Don't be cheap, buy a 10v+ charger for another 300-400 bucks and enjoy incredibly fast charging.
4. Wifi connectivity issues- (now resolved)
Yes, when received, I did face the issue, but within 8hrs received a 2mb update that resolved the issue.
So need to mention it, even though it will be auto resolved in newer handsets.
5. Second sim slot / memory card slot is same-
Yep, either learn to be satisfied with one sim or be satisfied with 32gb internal memory space, cause the second sim space is same as the SD card slot
I'm using dual sim and internal memory and am a wifi junkie so don't keep much data in storage.
But it's all one's preference, so beware....
Additional note-
1. Use protection kids- :P :DEven though it has gorilla glass, metal body, better use tampered glass protection with a good shock proof back cover.
2. Buy a good earphones/ Bluetooth headset if you make long duration calls regularly-
Holding handset in same palm for long duration causes pain, so buy a headset to avoid this issue.
To summarize, see the title again, it's THE BEST GAMING HANDSET in it's price range,
If ur a gamer, or someone who has heavy media consumption, blindly go for it.
Hope my review helps, have a good day,
Thanks
