Design

      The P in 6P stands for 'premium'. It is made up of metal design. It is coated with Gorilla Glass 4. The antenna bands are cleverly hidden and flat sides are slightly curved. A stand-by button is placed on side of the phone. Volume and power buttons are placed on the other side of the phone. It has a circular fingerprint scanner. It feels comfortable in one hand. 

      The dimensions are 159.4*77.8*7.3mm with weight of about 178g. The power button is made with texture and volume button is very smooth.USB-C is placed on bottom of the frame which replaces micro USB for faster charging.It has 3.5mm headphone jack on the top of the phone. Display

      The size of the display is 5.7 inch with AMOLED. It has a screen resolution of 2560*1440 with a dense 518 pixels per inch. It looks brighter and more colorful than Nexus 6.The brightness is higher when adaptive brightness is turned off.Whenever the phone is picked up or a notification arrives, it flashes a grayscale notification lockscreen. 

                                       

Fingerprint sensor

      The fingerprint sensor works like a biometric fingerprint sensors . There are two key differences, Registering a new fingerprint takes no longer than eight seconds . The fingerprint sensor is placed on back side and it is static, it dosen't double as a button that you press down. It takes half a second to unlock the phone with fast setup time and the sensor is accurate.

       The front-facing sensors works best.USB-C connection. The Nexus 6P makes the jump to charging and transferring data via USB Type-C. It is a new technology that replaced the microUSB for faster phone charging and it is used for transferring files into computer. 

Specifications

      It has qualcomm 64 bit processor which performs faster by saving more power. It has a dedictaed motion chip which drives all sensors on the phone. The Android Sensor Hub accomplishes orientation and motion tracking tasks all without taxing the processor. It has Android Marshmallow Doze feature with battery saving. 

  

   It has Adreno 430GPU which is embedded into System-on-a-CHip. It has 3GB of RAM and hardware which is fit for multi-tasking. It have different internal storage sizes lasting from 32GB to 128GB. It has no microSD card slot.

Performance, Marshmallow apps

      It has a smooth experience from boot up to battery drain . It has longer battery life when the phone is on standby and app permission tweaks.The marshmallow OS makes for a smarter version of Google's mobile operating system. Holding down on the on-screen home buttons brings up Google now on tap, which scans what you are currently reading, watching and hearing and it tries to educate you about the topic.It works best in messaging.

Messaging

      It offers a clean and simple SMS app called Messenger different from Facebook. It is fast and lightweight.

Movies and Music

      The 5.7 inch screen is better for watching HD movies in 16:9 aspect ratio. The screen size is big with accurate colour. 

Games

      It can handle all of the game apps with no slowdown or imperfections in it with graphics and colour. Real racing 3 and Asphalt 8 get fine .

Camera

      It has 12.3MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture which captures 1.55-micron pixels and 8MP front camera with f/2.4 aperture and HD video capture. You can switch between front and rear facing camera with just one tap instead of two confusing apps. 

       You can also set timer with one press and turn on video recording with easy swipe. It can record video in 4K at 30 fps. It is the best phone in google for camera quality with strong performance in proper light. Battery life

      It has a great battery life. Diving into settings menu and switching adaptive brightness off drains the full battery life down to a less impressive of 75%.It just takes 1 hour and 37 minutes to juice the battery up to 100% which is faster than Nexus 5X.

Overall review

      It is a luxury phone without premium price to match. The Nexus Imprint fingerprint sensor is right on time even if it landed on back of the phone. It is thinner,lighter and easier to hold. It performs great and with best software currently available inside it. Battery performance is exceptional and camera is decent . It is solid, reliable and consistent.
